Is it possible to pedal steel guitar in an old electric guitar?
Electric guitars have been modified to produce effects pedal steel for many years. (do a web search for Parsons Bender chain to get an idea of what can be done). As for the actual production plant on a pedal steel that lets you change the pitch of each string, I think she could do, but I think it has some potential problems of adjustment due to the fact that the neck of the guitar is not usually stiff enough to resist bending when the line voltage changes. Guitar Necks contain adjustable truss rod designed to combat unwanted tilt caused by a static string tension. Then attach the neck to the slab on the wrist with long screws go through wooden spacers, closing the gap between the wrist (pegha) and the slab.
