A name is the part of speech used to name or label of an abstract idea, a person, place, animal or thing. Names are often among the first words that a child learns, understands and uses. There are many different names and different uses.

Plural nouns

Many names are changed to the plural to singular form to suggest a series two or more, with the addition of "s" or "ES". Genus names

Almost all common names such as "support" or "student" can be used for label women and men.
